Having a baby in the world is a joy. But, there are certain things that first-time parents would need to know in order for their experience to be as smooth as possible.

One of the things that you keep in mind as parents would be to make sure that everything is clean for your baby. This includes baby clothes, diapers, feeding bottles, and just about anything that your baby needs.

Maintaining cleanliness at all times is a must since your baby still cannot fend off foreign pathogens. If they come into contact with bacteria and other pathogens, it could cause harm to your babies.

In today’s article, I will go over some tips to help you properly fold your baby’s tiny garments.

Shirts

To fold their shirts properly, you want to lay the garment on its front and then slowly fold the sleeves in. If you visualize, the sleeves should go to the back of the shirt.

Next, you want to fold the bottom of the shirt up to the middle of the back. Then, you want to bring the bottom portion to the top of the shirt and that’s about it.

Jumpers/Bodysuits

You want to start off the same way as you did with the shirts. You want to fold the sleeves in so that they will be placed on the back of the jumper.

Next, you want to fold it in half; making sure that you bring the bottom half of the jumper up to the top and that’s it.

Footies

The principles are exactly the same as in folding the other garments. You want to lay the garment on its front and then fold the sleeves in so that they will be on the back of the garment.

Then, you want to fold the legs up so they, too, are placed on the back of the footie. After doing so, fold the entire garment in half and then bring the bottom portion up to the top.

Pants

For the pants, you want to fold one leg over the other and then fold the bottom portion up to the top, just below the waistband.

For dresses, it is best that you just hang them since they are made in a way that makes folding impossible (at least, when you want to do it as neatly as possible).
